I Would Walk 500 Miles …..

…. and I will walk 500 more !!!

Our lovely friend Christine Harrison ( Pictured above with Judy) is walking 1000 miles this year for our fund and we are very grateful. THESE ARE PROPER WALKS MAINLY UP NORTH !!! Below are some examples

Guiseley to Ilkley via Otley.    10 Mile
Guiseley to Ilkley ( rambling over the tops in the snow ).   7 Mile
Guiseley to Leeds along the Canal.   12 Mile
Shipley to Guiseley via Esholt ( The old Emmerdale Village Set ).  4 Mile
Guiseley to Otley Circular.   7 mile
Guiseley to Yeadon Tarn via Nunroyd Park.  7 mile
Pateley Bridge / Nidderdale Circular Walk.  13 Mile
Guiseley to Middleton Woods.   12 Mile

Christine has a few longer walks planned for when the weather improves and she is actually hoping to complete the 1000 miles within 6 months….

Even whilst on holiday Christine kept up her daily minimum of 4 miles by walking around deck 7 of her cruise ship numerous times 😂

Christine is trying to raise £1000 by this challenge and has already raised  over £300. Every bit counts so if you could donate that would be great
